Botanic garden is a large sprawling garden with excellent foliage. Also known as “Waterfall” by the locals. This extensive garden where locals come to power-walk, jog, or practice tai chi. The garden is further divided into 12 subsections, including the fern rockery and the orchidarium; which means it is more aspiring botanists and plant-enthusiasts will enjoy the walk, as well as the natural company.

Tropical Spice Garden
If you want to experience an enchanted paradise and South-East Asia’s one and only award-winning spice garden. A visit to the spice garden is a magnificent way to learn about spices and its benefits. The tropical spice garden has a beautiful landscape of more than 500 species of plants. It makes you feel like you are in a fairy tale.
There is a giant swing in the heart of the garden. It is perfect to relax and take photographs. Pro-tip, the best way to take the photograph is the front, but it is a little elevated. How are you going to do? Bring your selfie stick along and you will beautiful photographs, for sure!

Tips to reach:
To get to the Tropical Spice Garden, take a RapidPG bus ride from the city. Buses that pass the Spice Garden are #102 (Airport – Teluk Bahang – Airport) and #101 (Weld Quay – Teluk Bahang – Weld Quay). Every taxi driver knows the place, but it might be difficult finding a driver that agrees on using the meter (Penang taxi drivers are notorious for that). Also finding a taxi to take you back might be difficult at some times. If you are exploring Penang by rental car, you can park it directly in front of the attraction.
