Penang Hill & Kek Lok Si

Penang has been one of the most popular travel destinations of Malaysia. It was known as Silicon Valley of the East.

In 2008, George Town received the status of UNESCO World Heritage. Since then, tourism, art and cultural activities have been actively developed, various public spaces, art theatre, showcase, cafes, and etc. were established.

Penang Hill

A favourite place of hiking lovers and tourists. You can enjoy the amazing view of George Town as well as a glimpse of Butterworth.

It’s also a perfect place to enjoy a chilly day with beautiful green scenery.

Visitors can reach the top of Penang Hill by train (Penang Hill Lower Station) as well as private jeep service (from Botanical Gardens).

Kek Lok Si Temple

Completed in 1905 and 1930 (Main Pagoda), Kek Lok Si is the largest Buddhist temple in Malaysia. In 2002, the 30.2-metre Bronze Guan Yin statue was completed. The architecture and traditional design are the main attractions, especially its annual light festival during Chinese New Year.
